I began teaching in Shelbyville in 2022 and I currently teach Algebra I, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. I am also an assistant Band Director and I teach a Music Theory class with Mr. Kennon, the Band Director.

I began teaching in 2014, immediately after graduating from ETBU at Forest Park Magnet School of Global Studies in Longview, TX. I taught there for two years before moving to Crosby, TX, where I taught middle school mathematics for seven years.

I also have worked in churches in all three areas (Shelbyville, Longview, and Houston) in various positions as Youth Minister, Worship Minister, Sound and Media, lay-preaching, etc. 

My wife and I have been married since 2006 and have two sons that are attending and will attend Shelbyville ISD.
